Kaizen is the idea of making small incremental changes that can foster continuous improvement. Our brains are programmed to resist change and to succeed we must build new smaller habits that create new programming. Small changes that are continuous.

  • Identify Opportunities

  • Create a plan for a small change

  • Implement Plan

  • Measure and Evaluate

  • If successful Repeat (If not start with a new change)

As you consider your goals for 2025 consider breaking them down into small habits that build up on one another. Focus on purpose, process, people and performance. Keep changes small and keep them going!

Staying hydrated during the winter

As the months cool off a lot of us forget how important it is to stay hydrated, we don’t have the outside heat to remind us that water is essential for life. Here are five tips to stay hydrated.

  1. Set a hydration goal that is appropriate for you

  2. Bring a water bottle or water cup along

  3. Eat hydrating food or pair it with meals

  4. Stay ahead of the weather, dress in layers

  5. Set reminders to make it a habit throughout the day
